Project requirement: a tobacco factory needs to establish a logistics automation warehouse. The requirements include: allow one end of the warehouse to complete the entry and exit operation; configure 6 roadways; 200 material units / hour (the more reasonable flow is about 50 material units / hour, according to other factors such as stacker parameters); other stackers can replace the operations without affecting the warehousing operation.

Project design: If the design is arranged according to the straight rail, the reservoir should be equipped with 6 stackers. The six stacking functions meet more than twice the requirements of the system, the capacity and resources of the stacker are very wasted, and the stacker between different alleeways can not be exchanged to operate, and a failure will lead to the materials in the roadway can not be carried out of the storage operation. If the U-type rail layout is designed, 3 stackers need to be configured, and the stacker capacity just matches the system requirements, saving 3 stackers compared with the direct rail arrangement. However, if one stacker fails, there will be two roadways unable to go out of storage.

Project advantage: in the actual design, the smoke factory adopted the rail stacker system track layout, six roadway configuration 3 stacker, on the premise of satisfying the system warehousing capacity to save three stacker, and stacker interchangeability is very high, according to the system scheduling, can realize any stacker to complete other any stacker need to complete the task. It makes up for the shortcomings of straight rail layout design and U-type track, and more effectively plays the stacker capacity, and also the enterprise saves more unnecessary operating costs.
