What are the differences between AGV and RGV?
With the proposal of "Industry 4.0" and "Made in China 2025", the modern and intelligent logistics transportation and warehousing system will surely subvert people's concept of traditional logistics and warehousing. I. AGV
AGV (Automatic Guide Vehicle), the "Automatic Pilot Vehicle", falls under the category of the Wheel Mobile Robot (WMR). Its system is mainly composed of driverless autonomous guidance vehicles, AGV management, monitoring system and intelligent charging system.
AGV trolley operation is under the management and monitoring of AGV management and monitoring system, the trolley selects the planned quality route according to the requirements of operation tasks, walks accurately and stops at the designated place to complete a series of operation instructions; such as pickup, unloading, charging, etc.
AGV system has broad application prospects in enterprise automation production and computer synthesis production system, especially in highly automated logistics and warehousing industry. II. RGV
The RGV (Rail Guide Vehale), the "rail guided vehicle", or the rail shuttle trolley, is a contact carrier with the ground guide rail. The trolley is mainly composed of frame, drive wheel, running wheel, running wheel, front and rear bumper, chain conveyor, communication system, electrical system and each cover plate.
Has a very widely used in the logistics system, with fast speed, high reliability, low cost and other characteristics. According to its different functions, it can be divided into two types: assembly RGV system and transportation RGV system, mainly used for material delivery, workshop assembly, etc. According to the movement mode, it can be divided into circular track and straight line reciprocating, ring track RGV system has high efficiency, can work at the same time, generally use aluminum alloy track. Generally linear reciprocating a RGV system includes a RGV for reciprocating movement, the efficiency is relatively low than the ring RGV system. The RGV system can be used both as a peripheral equipment of the stereo warehouse or as its own independent system.
The surrounding equipment for storage can easily automatically connect with other logistics systems, such as warehousing platforms, various buffer stations, conveyors, elevators and robots, and deliver materials according to the plan. It also does not need personnel operation, fast operation speed, thus well reduces the storage cost, improve the labor productivity, and the application of shuttle cars can make the logistics system become very simple.
