广州仓储贯通式货架，是一种不以通道分割的、连续性的整栋货架，在支撑导轨上，托盘按深度方向存放，一个紧接一个，这使得高密度存放成为可能。贯通式货架适用于品种少、数量大的货物存放，常用于存放大批同类型货物，对空间利用较高，适合于食品行业、化工行业、制衣行业、冷库等存储空间成本较高的场合，其单位场地的储存成本相对较低。贯通式货架按取货方向可分为单向与双向排列，单向货架总深度最好控制在6个托盘深度以内，双向货架区域总深度最好控制在12个托盘深度以内，以提高叉车存取的效率和可靠性；此类仓储系统稳定性较弱，货架不宜过高，通常应控制在10米以内，且为了加强整个货架系统的稳定性，除规格、选型要大一些外，还须加设拉固装置。单托货物不宜过大、过重，通常重量控制在1500KG以内，托盘跨度不宜大于1.5米。常配叉车为前移式电瓶叉车或平衡重电瓶叉车。
